Control of vocational qualifications acquired in Turkey; To be classified as a qualified specialist within the meaning of the Qualified Immigration Act, a so-called equivalence test is carried out beforehand. In this procedure, the equivalence of a foreign educational qualification is verified. The equivalence test is also usually a prerequisite for visa issuance.
During the equivalence test, the professional qualification acquired by the skilled worker in his home country is compared with reference values for the relevant German professional qualification. The current education and training regulations are decisive for this.
